2011 Accomplishments

PLEASE LOOK AT WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED IN 2011!

Total money paid out: $20,587.00 in individual and theatre scholarships.

Twelve students received a total of $17,805.00...DeKalb School of the Arts (DeKalb County) 4 Scholarships; Pebblebrook High School Performing Arts (Cobb County) 4 scholarships; Tri-Cities High School Performing Arts (Fulton County) 1 scholarship; Buford High School (Gwinnett County) 2 scholarships and Home Schooled Student (DeKalb County) 1 scholarship.

2011 Scholarship winners attended the following summer programs...Wesleyan College Summer Program, GA; Pittsburg Ballet Theatre School, PA; Brevard Music Center, NC; Open Jar Broadway Intensive, NY; FSU School of Dance, FL; The Ailey School, NY; Broadway Theatre Project, FL; Jacksonville U Summer Dance Intensive, FL; Dance Theatre of Harlem, NY; the School at Steps Summer Intensive, NY

Four area theatre programs received $2782.00 in Summer Scholarships

Alliance Theatre Youth Players; Atlanta Shakespeare Company at the New American Shakespeare Tavern Summer Intensive; Atlanta Workshop Players Camp Destiny; Georgia Ensemble Theatre Performance Camp.

TRMF is on the move!  This year we offered the opportunity to audition to students attending 46 schools in the Metro Atlanta area, both performing arts schools as well as schools with recognized musical theatre programs.
