Christine Heppner"Tim’s personality was as bright as the sunshine yellow paint that covered his bedroom walls. He could always brighten the largest theatre by just simply stepping on stage and shining his never-ending smile. Tim taught so many people how to laugh and how to take life with a little less strife. Tim taught us the joy of respite, accompanied with thousands of jokes. He taught us the importance of family and friends and love. He became an instant friend to everyone he met, for life. I remember the day that I realized how seriously Tim took his duty of being a friend. I had gone back to Avondale High School around 6:00 o’clock one evening because unfortunately I had done what every teenager dreads, I had thrown away my retainer after lunch and I knew that if I didn’t go back and search in those dumpsters I probably wouldn’t live to see the next week. So, Tim was there because his parents were attending a meeting that night. And with tears in my eyes, Tim just plowed right into that dumpster for me, and started searching through all the nasty garbage. I think the most remarkable thing is that we did find my tiny mouthpieces in there but, you know I just, I’ll never forget, just Tim, just, you know, just smiled at me and said 'Don’t worry, we’ll find ‘em.' and jumped right in. And then we sat down and decided to enjoy the beautiful parking lot scenery as he shared his Boston Chicken dinner with me that his parents had so lovingly brought to him.

Tim taught us how to laugh and for many of us how to cry. If you look around you realize how deeply he touched so many people, his jokes, his smiling face and his friendship and love will stay with all of us, always. And each time you think of Tim think of his favorite color yellow. He will be a part of us each time we smile and each time we laugh and each time we think of him. We love you Tim and we will surely miss you."
